So, near the end of the summer we were talking to the kids about setting goals and Emma said that she wanted to have a lemonade stand before school started. She is one of those kids who makes it easy to do things like this. If it is her idea she is completely motivated and loves all the "organization and planning" aspects of it. She did so great and it was a highly successful endeavor. She was so thrilled with everyone who came out and supported her efforts too.
Just recently Emma decided that she wanted to do a Hip-Hop class for her friends, so she made invites and passed them out to some of her cousins and friends at school. She practiced some moves, set up her room as a studio classroom, found some music and made some class rules. She only had one cousin show up that day, but they had a blast (I wish I would have taken a picture), and their performance afterwards was really cute.
We are trying to convince Emma to take drama classes because she has got such a natural talent. She is so much fun and I have never seen someone who likes to laugh more than she does. She hates to be called little, and I can see why. She has got HUGE ambitions, and savors life in massive gulps! We love our Emma!

While we were reading your posts Nikolai and MaryKate lamented that they didn't get any lemonaid but were still rather pleased that THEY got to stay and play that day! Only you, Lemon-Aid, could pull off a lemonaid stand this successful!!! (hahahaha)
How adorable is that face!!
