This year we ate two Thanksgiving dinners, but, sadly, we forgot to take any pictures of the first one. That day we spent a few hours at Mike's parent's home with most of his family for lunch, enjoyed the banter, and stuffed ourselves on some really good food. Then we came back to our house and ate a nice dinner with my Dad, Oma, my sister Heidi, her husband Kevin, and their daughter Sara. It wasn't much more spectacular than that, two great meals with good company, but that was perfect. My favorite part of Thanksgiving was baking in the kitchen the night before until my feet hurt, then waking up in the morning to the sounds of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade and the smells of the holidays. It doesn't get much better than that.
