We left the tee at Colin's height the entire game. It wasn't too bad for Mike and I, but poor Zach still had to reach high to hit it.
We signed the kids up for free swim lessons at Shepherd Junior High. They hold them to help train their new lifeguards. Our kids did it last year and were completely excited to have at it again. Thank goodness for 90 degree weather, last year they froze.
My sister Heidi and her family went out of town for a couple of days so we got to hang out with their dogs today and fill their food bowls. The dog in this particular picture is named "Tripper" and he's ours as soon as we move into our new home. Ches let me know today that we better start building his dog house so he'll have a place to stay once we get settled.
Most of the rest of the day was spent cleaning out and clearing out "stuff" in our house that we are not too keen on moving. Our kids were worried that we would spend all of Spring Break doing things for the move, so they helped us plan different things to do every day. One of their ideas was a round of "game stations". They set it up and we spent 8 minutes in each station, which included a puzzle, Uno, and Pictionary. It was a perfect idea and a welcome break from the weight of appraisals, church callings, packing boxes and bank accounts.
What would we do without our brilliantly beautiful kids?
Good day! :)
