Little Zach turned 2 years old on June 21st!
We had practiced, like crazy, blowing candles out, so when the big moment came and "Happy Birthday" was sung, he was thrilled to actually blow out both his candles all on his own. We had a dinosaur party, just us as a family, to celebrate. The kids made the decorations and Mike and I came up with the games. We played dinosaur tag, face-painted dinosaur faces, pinned the horn on the stegosaurus, played flashlight dinosaur hide-n-seek, read his favorite dinosaur book, and made dinosaur movies. It was such a good time.
Zach, we love you SO much! You came at just the right time for our family, and have meant everything to us. We love the way you ask for candy, and how, when we try to get you to say "mommy", you say, "ha ha da da!". We love that you hum the theme to Star Wars and shake your bootie on command. We love that every word for any sport in your vocabulary is "ba-ball". We love that you let us laugh, and we love that a thousand times a day we get to hear you say "Yea!" Thanks for being our kid and a fantastic little brother! Happy Two, Zach!
