Goofy Golfing... appropriately named.

So, a couple of weeks ago we told our kids that we were going to do a different Family Home Evening, but we wouldn't tell them what it was.  When we pulled up to the parking lot, they honestly thought that we were pulling a joke on them.  Once Mike and I got out of the car and Zach out of his car seat, all three of those little rascals looked up at us and said, "Are you serious?"  (Like we would be so cruel.)  Of course we were, and I swear, I haven't been hugged by those kids that hard since, well, heck, since we told them they were going to have a baby brother.  Who knew that a night of goofy golfing could be just as exciting as a trip to the moon?  Emma actually got a pretty good handle on it, Colin hit it like he was swinging a baseball bat, Chesley was the one who wanted to keep score, and Zach wandered aimlessly around after dropping his own ball in the hole, fascinated with all the Halloween decorations they had set up.  It was a good night.
